My friend and I had an amazing time. It was an incredibly immersive experience. We got to try four different games, and both of us agreed we'd love to do it again. A perfect way to enjoy a rainy day!

I booked this experience for my son's 12th birthday, and it was amazing! We were greeted by Mark, a knowledgeable and friendly instructor. The briefing was clear and easy to follow, and the room was clean and safe. My boys were impressed and excited to try the games. Mark was patient, humorous, and attentive, always offering helpful hints when needed. The games were fantastic, and we quickly got the hang of them. After each 15-minute game, Mark would bring us back to a VR lobby where we could relax with a VR beer and shoot targets while he explained the next game. The VR lobby was a great space to get comfortable, practice coordination, and get familiar with picking up, dropping, throwing, and shooting things. It was a perfect reset before jumping into the next game. The games themselves were incredible. I highly recommend the Arrowsong bow & arrow goblin game—it was where my boys and I really connected, working together to defeat enemies. The cooking game was so much fun—chaotic, frustrating, and hilarious. I laughed so hard, I ended up on the floor! The entire experience was immersive, never rushed, and lasted about 90 minutes with the headsets on. Mark’s patience and expertise made the experience even better. My boys loved it, and I would definitely book again. 10/10 *****
We had a fantastic 2-player experience! My 12-year-old son and I absolutely loved it. The whole experience is very well-organized, and the instructions for each game and its controls were clear and easy to follow. Excellent value for the price. We’ll definitely be coming back!
I visited **Game VR Wal** yesterday with my three kids, aged 16, 14, and 12, and we had an incredible time! We booked an hour and twenty minutes, and during that time, they played four different games. It was non-stop fun from start to finish. The games were a great mix of cooperative and player-vs-player action, keeping my kids engaged and excited the whole time. They spent the rest of the day talking about their favorite moments, and they’re already asking when we can go back! Besides the fun, it’s wonderful to support a great cause—**Full Bellies, Not Full Bins**. Knowing that our enjoyable day out helps those in need made the experience even more meaningful. I highly recommend **Game VR Wal** for anyone looking for an exciting, memorable activity with family or friends. We’ll definitely be back soon!
An absolutely fantastic experience for both kids (12 years old) and "big kids" (46)! There’s a wide selection of games to choose from, making the experience even more enjoyable, and we’ll definitely be coming back for more. Mark was an excellent host—very informative and took the time to explain everything clearly so we could dive right into the action without delay. If you already have a VR headset and think this isn’t for you, think again. The ability to move around in such a large space and experience true freedom adds an entirely new level of immersion to VR.
I have to admit, when we first arrived at what seemed like a random community hall (Treowen), I wasn’t sure what to expect for our first VR experience. But it’s amazing what Mark can do with a small space and all his gear! Myself (39), my partner (37), and our daughter (6) had an incredible time from start to finish! We played four games, plus a bonus test of a new game Mark wanted to try (Candy Chaos), which was a fantastic introduction to VR! Our favorite was the archery-based fantasy tower defense game, though the space shooter and zombie defense (which was just the right level of spooky for our daughter) were thrilling as well. The cooking game at the end was completely different but so much fun, and it really highlighted the tactile nature of VR compared to the usual point-and-shoot type games. Even the loading lobby, where we got to mess around before each game, kept my daughter entertained and laughing the entire time! The price we paid (£87) was incredibly reasonable compared to similar VR experiences in South Wales (£120–£200 for a private session), and it was worth every penny.
We had a fantastic morning with my two kids (9 and 11). I would highly recommend it!
I took my 8-year-old son to the VR experience today, and it was both entertaining and enjoyable. Honestly, I had even more fun than he did!
We had a fantastic time with this VR experience! We visited as a family of six—2 adults and 4 kids—and played 3 different games, all of which were a lot of fun. As someone who's not a gamer, I was surprised by how great the VR games were! Plus, you get videos of the gameplay and group shots sent to you afterward, which was a fun bonus to relive the experience. I highly recommend this experience with Mark!
I took my two daughters (aged 8 and 10) to VR Wales for our first VR adventure, and we all had an amazing time. They were instantly asking to do it again, and we definitely will! Mark was a fantastic host—friendly, helpful, and made sure we felt well taken care of. The experience was so much fun—shooting orcs and zombies, dodging space invaders, and seeing ourselves and each other as amusing avatars. I highly recommend this experience!
